Usability Tests with Eye-tracking
An eye-tracking analysis (scanpath analysis) allows for objective research into the usability (user friendliness) of internet portals, advertising campaigns, TV commercials, print media, and products. This enables targeted optimization.
Eye-tracking analysis provides objective and precise measurement of what information the test subject views, what is only being glanced over or what is in fact being read, how attention is divided among the represented graphics and texts, and which areas are being completely overlooked.
Eye-tracking Tests
During the course of an eye-tracking session, all relevant data such as eye-movements (fixations/saccades), scanpaths, mouse movements, clicks, text entries, interaction responses, and the display screen video are recorded.
