Usability Tests with Eye-tracking

An eye-tracking analysis (scanpath analysis) allows for objective research into the usability (user friendliness) of internet portals, advertising campaigns, TV commercials, print media, and products. This enables targeted optimization.

Eye-tracking analysis provides objective and precise measurement of what information the test subject views, what is only being glanced over or what is in fact being read, how attention is divided among the represented graphics and texts, and which areas are being completely overlooked.

  • comparison of individual and group analyses
  • videos showing point-of-gaze superimposition
  • graphic representations of scanpath analyses (scanpaths)
  • areas of interest
  • fixation diagrams (hotspots)
  • Gaze density distributions (heatmaps) and click path analyses
